Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Iron-Blooded Orphans HG series differ from other High Grade Gunpla series?

The Iron-Blooded Orphans (IBO) HG series is tailored to reflect the unique mobile suit designs and aesthetics of the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" anime. The kits often feature inner mechanical details known as the "frame system," which gives the models a greater range of articulation and poseability compared to some other HG series.

I'm particularly interested in the Barbatos mobile suit. Is there a model for that in the HG IBO series?

Absolutely! The Barbatos is one of the standout mobile suits from the IBO series, and there are multiple iterations of the HG Barbatos available, reflecting its various forms and upgrades throughout the anime. Each offers a unique design and weaponry, ensuring you can choose the one that resonates most with you.

Given the distinct design of IBO mobile suits, are these HG kits more complicated to build than other High Grades?

While the IBO HG series showcases unique designs and the frame system, the complexity is still in line with other High Grade kits. They are designed to be accessible, especially for those familiar with HG builds. However, the frame system does add an enjoyable layer of depth for builders who appreciate inner details. Q4: Do the Iron-Blooded Orphans HG kits come with decals and accessories relevant to the series? A4: Yes, they do! The IBO HG kits often come with an array of weaponry, like maces, swords, and rifles, true to what's seen in the anime. Are there HG kits representing other factions or mobile suits from opposing forces? A5: Indeed!
