Thanks for the nice deal.. I'm so lucky that I got the last one I think till next transaction
Great base, although having it at a significant height means having to centre the model so as to not tip it over.
Quick fun build.
The eighth armor set for the unique Core gundam. This expansion pack is a must. Equipped or on standby with the included transport stand. It’s a must for any build diver!
Although this is ony my third Gundam i have build (I have made HG Aerial rebuild, and RG Char's Zaku) I really dislike this Gunpla model as peices keep breaking off. Im not sure if this is only me because there are no other reviews and I got my kit from a second hand store in japan. the peices that have broke off is the hand attaching peice for the rifle and the left posable hand fingers. I also noticed that the white antenna peice slides off to easily although it will be an easy fix with glue, I dont like putting glue on my gunpla. But the cockpit is cool!
PS PLEASE MAKE MORE RG STANDS
A truely excellent kit, clear instructions and a joy to build. Love how solid and chunky Virtue is. The reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that some of the conversion parts for Virtue aren’t super secure or loosely held in place. A minor issue to an otherwise awesome kit
The best tool I've bought for Gunpla, this lil beauty has gotten me out of so many jams. Bring able to open polycaps back up is also worth it.
My three year old put this together and had a blast, she is keen to do more, even asking if she can do a Gundam (not yet, was my reply).
Clean lines even when pushing the parts out by hand, easy to follow instructions, with a cute result.
Figure is faithful with source material, can recreate most poses from the anime with ease.
I've been picking up these bases to go with my collection. I prefer the hex-shaped bases and they come with plenty of options for posing and displaying your GunPla.
Great build all around - initially had an issue with the arm pegs they I could find others talking about online but with no solution - fixed with ac Airlie of the upper arm armour. Super poseable, fantastic articulate, and you can always pinch the backpack to chuck on your Aile Strike if you're feeling cheeky.
I really liked how easy but long it took to build and the outcome was worth it! I would highly recomend for starters to Gunpla.
I only recently got into making Gunpla models and this one happened to be my second one (my first being a HG Aerial rebuild).
I didnt really have any problems on the first one so I thought this one wouldnt be much of a difference. It took me around 2 day to assemble plus put on the decals but a few days after completion I noticed some of the stickers where out of place.
I did use a cotton swab tip to press onto the stickers and im pretty sure i didnt touch any with my bare hands but with a hobby knife. Later i found out that I probaly made a mistake of not making sure the surface was free of my hand oil, dust,
and other small impurities.
MAKE SURE YOU DONT DO WHAT I DID AND CLEAN THE SURFACE BEFORE PUTTING ON DECALS!!!1
HG Dantalion keeps on going out of stock, now I know the reason why. Lucky I got one this time. Really unique head sculpt, unique build, and the Half Cowl T gives it the bulk it needs to impose on the shelf. Nice addition to my display!
I got this as a gift for someone and it has made me very popular indeed!
For a first 30mm Kit, this guy was a blast. Easy to assemble, fun to pose, and even more fun to mess about and make some cool mechs with.
First, the build. Nice and simple, no complaints. The Alto's a pretty well-built fellow, a nice and dense plastic dude. The only slightly complex parts (if you could say that) were the wings, but it's still fairly easy.
The posing is awesome. He can bend in every which way thanks to a generous helping of polycaps and other joints. His chicken legs (landing gear?) let him pose fine, and a little better than his normal boots thanks to the splayed claws. He can stand just fine with his backpack - no back-heavy issues here unlike some other kits.
For equipment, he comes with the parts to turn him into a normal navy alto, his flight pack, and a set of booster legs. These are the 30mm space flight legs colored navy, and he can use them as such. the wings can rotate, fold, and attach to other 3mm ports. he can also attach other guns to the undersides. His railguns on top of the pack come with parts for him to use them as guns too.
All in all, he cuts a mean presence on the shelf - definitely put him on a stand so he can really show you what he's got!
Fast delivery, beautiful kit
My wife gave me the box as a gift and has been fun assembling the gundams, I will use my new tools to get bigger models.
Long story short- needed a new set of nippers due to my GodHands wearing down. Considered grabbing another set until I needed whole package set for build nights at my LHS. Saw this and agreed with the price. Well worth it if you see it.
My orders were sent and shipped quickly despite the busy holidays ahead. My package was also packed safely with a kind addition of a freebie. I am happy with my purchases and will definitely order here again.
I’ve been a Transformers fan for almost the whole 40 years of its existence, I’ve had multiple Optimus Primes’s/Convoy in that time, including Masterpiece, and this is a superb idea excellently executed
I bought this along with a starting kit as the start to my GunPla journey. After assembling the Entry Grade and another provided High Grade, this was my first real build. It was a great starting point, ramping up the complexity without becoming overwhelming. The shield is a cool focal point, the beam rifle looks especially nice with the stickers and overall it's just a very appealing model. The only difficulty I had was with the wings, taking a few attempts to put everything together the right way but nothing that couldn't be fixed without issue. Definitely recommend for a beginner-intermediate High Grade.
