Bandai 1/144 HGUC MSM-07 Z'Gok

Dive into amphibious dominance with the 1/144 HGUC MSM-07 Z'Gok!

This ain't your average grunt mobile suit. This is Zeon's amphibious ace, a clawed monstrosity that terrorized both land and sea in Mobile Suit Gundam. Now, you can relive its aquatic rampage (or just pose it menacingly on your shelf) with this detailed and articulated HGUC kit.

Imagine: Crushing enemy mobile suits with your massive claws, blasting them with your built-in mega particle cannons, and zipping through the water with surprising agility thanks to its unique leg design. The Z'Gok's poseability lets you recreate iconic scenes or craft your own underwater battlescapes.

Details that bite! The HGUC Z'Gok captures the suit's menacing charm, from its beady mono-eye to its spiky armor. Molded in Zeon green, with optional waterslide decals for extra authenticity, this kit is a testament to Zeon's engineering prowess (and questionable fashion sense).

Challenge yourself, build a legend! This ain't a snap-fit project for rookies. The Z'Gok's intricate parts and unique design demand patience and skill, but the reward is a centerpiece that'll have other Gunpla models trembling in their bases.

More than a model, it's a statement. Owning the HGUC Z'Gok is a declaration that you appreciate unconventional warfare and amphibious dominance. It's a testament to your skills as a builder and a reminder that on the Gunpla battlefield, sometimes the weirdest suits win.

Order yours today and:

  • Command the depths with the Z'Gok!
  • Experience the satisfaction of a challenging and rewarding build.
  • Own a piece of Gundam history, reborn in plastic legend!

Don't wait, pilot! The ocean (or your display shelf) awaits. Claim your victory with the 1/144 HGUC MSM-07 Z'Gok!

Assembly Guide

Skill Level.2 Basic modeling skills are required. Parental supervision may be required for younger children. These kits are generally suitable for beginner builders. A basic set of modeling tools are required including nippers, hobby knife, sanding sticks/paper, file, and tweezers. No glue is needed for the general assembly. Parts will need to be removed by using a pair of nippers and cutting the part away from the runner. Parts may require clean-up where they were removed from the runner.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Gundam series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Gundam kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.

Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Painting allows for more creativity and personalization, enabling modelers to achieve unique effects, weathering, and colour schemes that may not be available out of the box. However, the kits are designed to be enjoyable and visually appealing even without painting, making them accessible to a wide range of hobbyists.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between this Z'Gok and the regular one?

This is the "Production Type," meaning it's a more mass-produced version with a slightly simplified design compared to the "Commander Type." It still packs a punch with its claws and beam spray gun, but it lacks the fancy head crest and shoulder spikes of its commander counterpart.

Is it poseable despite its bulky claws?

Absolutely! The HGUC Z'Gok Production Type features excellent articulation in its arms, legs, and even the claws, allowing you to recreate its iconic stomping, lunging, and beam-spraying poses. Don't let its size fool you; this crustacean can move!

Is it beginner-friendly to build?

Definitely! Like most HGUC kits, the Z'Gok uses snap-fit construction and comes pre-colored in its classic green and grey scheme, eliminating the need for glue or painting. Beginners can enjoy building and posing this amphibious Zeon beast without any prior experience.

Can I customize the Z'Gok?

While the pre-colored parts are convenient, the Z'Gok welcomes customization. You can: Add decals or stickers for unique markings and emblems. Hand-paint for a personalized touch, like weathering effects or battle damage. Swap weapons with other HGUC kits for a more diverse arsenal. Even modify the design with custom parts or accessories, like additional armor or underwater effects.

Is it worth getting if I already have other Zeon mobile suits?

That depends! If you love Zeon designs and want a classic amphibious warrior, the Z'Gok is a fantastic choice. Its iconic claws, pre-colored armor, and beginner-friendly build make it a great addition to any shelf. Plus, it's a fun contrast to bulkier mobile suits like Zakus.

Pretty good kit, but quite old and with some odd color choices. Might be better to save up for a MG or RG
