Bandai 1/144 HGUC MSM-07 Z'Gok

Dive into amphibious dominance with the 1/144 HGUC MSM-07 Z'Gok!

This ain't your average grunt mobile suit. This is Zeon's amphibious ace, a clawed monstrosity that terrorized both land and sea in Mobile Suit Gundam. Now, you can relive its aquatic rampage (or just pose it menacingly on your shelf) with this detailed and articulated HGUC kit.

Imagine: Crushing enemy mobile suits with your massive claws, blasting them with your built-in mega particle cannons, and zipping through the water with surprising agility thanks to its unique leg design. The Z'Gok's poseability lets you recreate iconic scenes or craft your own underwater battlescapes.

Details that bite! The HGUC Z'Gok captures the suit's menacing charm, from its beady mono-eye to its spiky armor. Molded in Zeon green, with optional waterslide decals for extra authenticity, this kit is a testament to Zeon's engineering prowess (and questionable fashion sense).

Challenge yourself, build a legend! This ain't a snap-fit project for rookies. The Z'Gok's intricate parts and unique design demand patience and skill, but the reward is a centerpiece that'll have other Gunpla models trembling in their bases.

More than a model, it's a statement. Owning the HGUC Z'Gok is a declaration that you appreciate unconventional warfare and amphibious dominance. It's a testament to your skills as a builder and a reminder that on the Gunpla battlefield, sometimes the weirdest suits win.

Order yours today and:

  • Command the depths with the Z'Gok!

Assembly Guide

Skill Level.2 Basic modeling skills are required. Parental supervision may be required for younger children. These kits are generally suitable for beginner builders. A basic set of modeling tools are required including nippers, hobby knife, sanding sticks/paper, file, and tweezers. No glue is needed for the general assembly. Parts will need to be removed by using a pair of nippers and cutting the part away from the runner. Parts may require clean-up where they were removed from the runner.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Gundam series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Gundam kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.

Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Painting allows for more creativity and personalization, enabling modelers to achieve unique effects, weathering, and colour schemes that may not be available out of the box. However, the kits are designed to be enjoyable and visually appealing even without painting, making them accessible to a wide range of hobbyists.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the different grades of Gunpla, and how do they differ?

Q: What are the different grades of Gunpla, and how do they differ? A: Gunpla kits come in various grades, including Entry Grade (EG formally FG) High Grade (HG), Master Grade (MG), Perfect Grade (PG), Real Grade (RG), and Super Deformed (SD). Each grade varies in size, complexity, articulation, and detail, with PG being the most detailed and largest among standard models, while SDs are chibi-style representations of Gundam mobile suits.

How do I start with Gunpla building if I'm a beginner?

Start with an EG, HG or SD kit, as they are simpler and require minimal tools. Alternatively choose one of Gundam Express Australia's customised beginner boxes. Ensure you have a pair of plastic nippers and, optionally, a hobby knife and fine grit sandpaper. Follow the instruction manual, cut parts carefully from the runners, and piece them together. Over time, you can advance to more intricate models and detailing techniques.

Do I need to paint my Gunpla?

Painting is optional. Kits come pre-coloured, so painting is primarily for those who want to customize or achieve a specific look. If you decide to paint, acrylic or enamel hobby paints are recommended, along with proper priming.

How can I make my Gunpla look even more realistic?

Techniques like panel lining, using decals, weathering, and top-coating can enhance the realism of a kit. Panel lining emphasizes details, decals add logos and warnings, weathering gives a battle-worn look, and top-coating seals everything with a matte or glossy finish.

Are there limited edition or rare Gunpla kits?

Yes, Bandai regularly releases limited edition, event-exclusive, or special coating versions of kits. These can be more challenging to find and might be pricier than standard releases. Collectors often seek these kits for their uniqueness. Common names included:- P-Bandai (premium Bandai), Gundam Base Limited, and Event Limited

Pretty good kit, but quite old and with some odd color choices. Might be better to save up for a MG or RG
