Unleash the Power of the Gundam Virtue and Nadleeh with Bandai's New Master Grade Kit!

The Gundam Virtue and Nadleeh, two of the most iconic mobile suits from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, now have a spectacular new Master Grade model kit from Bandai!

This kit features everything you need to build a detailed and accurate replica of these incredible machines. The external armor of the Virtue can be detached to reveal the Gundam Nadleeh within, and the lining parts create a sense of density and realism. The barrel of the GN cannon on both shoulders expands and contracts, and they can be moved to the Virtue's upper body for its attack form. The Nadleeh's exclusive shield, GN beam rifle, and effect parts are also included, as well as a solar furnace as a bonus part.

To top it all off, the kit includes both a pilot figure of Tieria Erde and a figure of her in a dress. This makes the perfect addition to any Gundam fan's collection.

Assembly Guide

Skill Level.2 Basic modeling skills are required. Parental supervision may be required for younger children. These kits are generally suitable for beginner builders. A basic set of modeling tools are required including nippers, hobby knife, sanding sticks/paper, file, and tweezers. No glue is needed for the general assembly. Parts will need to be removed by using a pair of nippers and cutting the part away from the runner. Parts may require clean-up where they were removed from the runner.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Gundam series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Gundam kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.

Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Painting allows for more creativity and personalization, enabling modelers to achieve unique effects, weathering, and colour schemes that may not be available out of the box. However, the kits are designed to be enjoyable and visually appealing even without painting, making them accessible to a wide range of hobbyists.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sets Master Grade (MG) kits apart from other Gunpla grades?

MG kits are known for their 1/100 scale, detailed inner frame systems, advanced articulation, and a greater number of parts. They offer a more intricate building experience and finished model than some other grades.

How long does it typically take to build an MG kit compared to other grades?

Due to their complexity and number of parts, MG kits generally take longer to assemble than HG (High Grade) kits. A build can range from several hours to a few days, depending on the model and builder's experience.

Do I need any special tools or paints for MG kits?

While MG kits are designed to be snap-fit, tools like nippers and hobby knives can enhance the building experience by cleaning parts. Paints are optional but can be used for customizing or detailing.

Are MG kits suitable for beginners?

While MG kits are more complex than HG kits, they're not impossible for beginners. However, newcomers might want to start with an HG or an easier MG kit to familiarize themselves with the basics before diving into more advanced models. We have a skill level indicator for each model to help potential builders understand possible level of difficulty

Can I pose MG models, and do they come with stands?

es, MG models have excellent articulation and can be posed in various ways. Some MG kits include stands, but not all. If you want dynamic aerial poses, you might consider buying a stand separately. Make sure you read our Blog about Action Bases

Oversized and oh so good, but buy two!

In the show itself Virtue is actually two gundams. The large bulky Virtue used as a heavy weapons platform, and inside is Nadleeh, a far slimmer and faster gundam.

Going into this kit I was curious if and how they'd reflect this, especially when I saw the oversized box, and man did they blow it out of the park. You first build Nadleeh, clicking together each piece in sequence, but when you finish you'll still have many many runners left. This is the bulky armour and massive weapons or Virtue, that you click around Nadleeh to encase the slimmer gundam in it's brothers bulky frame. Each piece hiding more and more until it's entirely hidden to the point you'd never know they were inside, just like how it is in the show.

This is the first kit I seriously considered buying a second copy of, and I may end up doing it down the line as it'd just be so much cooler to have both gundams side by side. An absolutely incredible experience of a build, though the bulk does cause some issues with posing, but this is absolutely a kit you want to buy for your collection, and after building you'll seriously considering buying a second one

Amazing MG kit

To start this off, yes you will want to buy x2 of this insane but awesome kit.
After building, I do wish Bandai Spirits would have released these guy's separately, but that's my opinion, like wanting to get a 2nd kit to build Nadleeh, after transforming into Virtue, I'm not gonna take all that off again & risk breaking in the process.

Nadleeh-
The first to be built. I enjoyed the way it came together. The GN cables in its head are incredible & gives the kit character. When posing this kit, I'll be taking a page from Exia & gonna have it holding both beam sabres. The shield is a nice looking design but, can't say the same for the beam rifle, even with the sharp effect part.

Virtue-
As Barney from How I Met Your Mother would say- 'Suit up!'
And that's basically what we are doing with Virtue.
Now all the armour goes onto Nadleeh without issue, but I feel they could've had better ways to connect them as they rattle slightly even sandwiched together, hence why I would've like to have Virtue released just as it is without Nadleeh underneath, again that's just me.
Now the x2 cannons on the shoulder sit perfectly & look awesome posed.
Now for the elephant in the room, i.e the GN Bazooka, building this is neat, holding in one hand is good, but double handled at full extension firing all compressed particles is tricky but doable with patience.

All up this kit is a worthy addition to the collection and with that the main season 1 suits are assembled.
Makes me hope for the season 2 & Awakening of the Trailblazer main machines to be made into MG's (except 00 Raiser & 00 QanT as they've been out for a while now), however my gut is telling me we may get MG Gundam Thrones first, but we'll wait & see.

If you wanna grab 1 that's fine, if you wanna grab 2 then that's also fine, more power to you. And as always if you haven't got this kit, then what are you waiting for?
