P-Bandai 1/144 RG MS-06R-1A Zaku II Shin Matsunaga Ver.

The infamous White Wolf from the Universal Century timeline of the Gundam metaseries has joined the Real Grade line with his custom Zaku II! It comes with its symbol White Wolf stickers. The body of  MS-06R-1A Shin Matsunaga's suit is thoroughly reproduced with new moldings. The right shoulder is equipped with a duct and reproduced with new molding. The overall finish is amazingly realistic and includes decals. The shield is faithfully reproduced with ribbing along both sides. New details have also been added to the front armour. The form of the 06R-1A backpack includes a slightly downsized tank and an added fook in the centre. The exterior shape of the legs differ from 06R-2, and are reproduced with almost entirely new parts including different verniers. Each weapon is reproduced to the RG standard. Shin Matsunaga's characteristic "Prototype Zaku Bazooka" weapon is reproduced with new molding. In addition, Zaku Bazooka, Zaku Machine Gun, and Heat Hawk are included.

Assembly Guide

No Cement Required

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.

No Painting Required

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Gundam series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Gundam kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.

Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Painting allows for more creativity and personalization, enabling modelers to achieve unique effects, weathering, and colour schemes that may not be available out of the box. However, the kits are designed to be enjoyable and visually appealing even without painting, making them accessible to a wide range of hobbyists.

They combine aspects of both HG and MG kits, offering the detailing and complexity of MG models but at a smaller size. They often come with many small parts and colour separations that allow for a detailed finish without the need for painting.

How long does it typically take to assemble a Real Grade Gundam?

It varies based on one's experience and the specific model, but on average, building an RG kit can take anywhere from 5 to 12 hours. Some intricate models with lots of decals and parts might take even longer, especially if you're meticulous about details.

Do I need to paint my Real Grade Gundam?

We recommended to have a few basic modeling tools for a better experience.
