Movie Synopsis
The upcoming "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom" movie is a continuation of the Gundam SEED series, picking up the narrative following the events of "Gundam SEED Destiny." This film, set in CE 75, delves into a period of ongoing conflict and introduces the world peace monitoring organization Compass, with Lacus Clyne as its first president. Kira Yamato and his comrades are depicted as intervening in global conflicts, showcasing their efforts to maintain peace.
The film focuses on Kira Yamato, shifting the protagonist role back to him after "Gundam SEED Destiny" centered more on Athrun Zala. The narrative explores themes of freedom, contrasting the Destiny Plan from the previous series, and delves into the unfinished stories of its main characters, including Kira, Athrun, and Shinn Asuka. The movie employs advanced CG and animation techniques to enhance the storytelling and character expressions.
