Great and easy build, only issue I had with it was the shoulder pads when rotating the arms. Cement it should fix the issue.

Read MoreGunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.
Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Gundam series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Gundam kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.
Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Painting allows for more creativity and personalization, enabling modelers to achieve unique effects, weathering, and colour schemes that may not be available out of the box. However, the kits are designed to be enjoyable and visually appealing even without painting, making them accessible to a wide range of hobbyists.
Think of the Hy-Gogg as a Gogg on steroids! It's bulkier, meaner, and packs a serious punch with its upgraded weaponry. The pre-colored dark green armor and massive claws scream "Zeon dominance" and make it a standout addition to any shelf.
Surprisingly, no! The Hy-Gogg retains good HGUC articulation despite its size. You can pose its powerful arms and legs in various stances, wield its Beam Rifle with menacing intent, or unleash its signature triple claws in a flurry of destruction.
Not at all! The Hy-gogg uses snap-fit construction and comes pre-colored in its intimidating dark green, eliminating the need for glue or painting. Beginners can enjoy building and posing this amphibious Zeon leviathan without any prior experience.
Absolutely! While the pre-colored parts are convenient, the Hy-Gogg welcomes customization. You can: Add decals or stickers for unique markings and emblems. Hand-paint for a personalized touch, like weathering effects or custom details. Swap weapons with other HGUC kits for a more diverse arsenal. Even modify the design with custom parts or accessories, like additional armor plating or underwater effects.
That depends! If you love the Gogg but want something more brutal and imposing, the Hy-Gogg offers a significant upgrade in size, weaponry, and overall intimidation factor. Its pre-colored armor and beginner-friendly build make it a great choice for Zeon enthusiasts and fans of heavy-duty mobile suits.
